We'll be planting seeds for transformation as we balance our Chakras. You'll have plenty of free time to enjoy the Carlsbad Inn and Beach Resort, thats steps away from the Pacific Ocean. It's a peaceful resort within the charming coastal Village of Carlsbad, California. Walk to trendy boutiques, antique stores, delightful restaurants, cafes and wine bistros, or sit back and enjoy the sunset from the courtyard with fire pits. There is also a heated pool, jacuzzi, sauna, board games, puzzles, beach chairs, umbrellas, bikes, sand toys, and even a ping pong table.
Retreat Itinerary- Full and complete itinerary, as to exact location and times, as well as a list of what to bring will be sent to retreat participants two weeks prior.
Monday September 10, 2018 - Arrival 4pm check in at the Beautiful Carlsbad Beach Inn and Resort. Where the weather is perfect 65-75 degree range. We'll meet at 5pm for a little meet and greet and then head to the beach for Sunset over the pacific ocean. Meditation and Discussion will follow on our Root Chakra. This is where the power for change and transformation begins. So, we'll create an intention and plant those seeds. What changes are you wanting to make?
Tuesday - Sunrise Beach Yoga begins our day as we listen to the soothing sounds of the Pacific Ocean. Our focus begins with the second chakra. The chakra of emotions, movement and pleasure. An imbalance of this chakra may make you feel oversensitive, powerless, and isolated, if under active, and sexual promiscuous or addictive behaviors if overactive. With a balanced second chakra you will flow through life with ease and grace. The third chakra is the chakra of personal power. An imbalance can range from low self esteem to controlling. When in balance this chakra allows us to have an inner confidence to make lasting change. Poses practiced will work toward balancing these chakras.
After an encouragement to journal, we'll head to breakfast. Then plenty of free time to enjoy all the amenities that the Carlsbad Beach Inn and Resort has to offer; Pool, Beach, Jacuzzi, Sauna, Bikes, and much more. Maybe strolling the quaint coastal Village of Carlsbad of trendy boutique stores and antique shops, or maybe scheduling yourself a spa treatment at the famous Carlsbad Mineral Water Spa, known for their healing water.
In the evening we'll head to the beach to watch the sunset over the Pacific Ocean. We'll do meditations on the second and third chakra, journal, and then head to the outdoor fire pit for community and conversation.
Wednesday - Will be similar itinerary to Tuesday, except our focus will be on the forth and fifth chakras. The forth chakra is the Heart Chakra and is the balancing point between the mind and the body integrating every aspect of our being. When this chakra is balanced we are able to give and receive love, and are caring and compassionate. Out of balance we may have an inability to forgive, are intolerant and resentful and may have feelings of loneliness.
The fifth chakra is the throat center. When balanced we know what to say and when and how to say it. The voice is full and we are in tune with our surroundings. Out of balance this chakra ranges from not being able to put things into words to talking too loud and too much. We will practice yoga and pranayama to balance this chakra, and our Sunset Meditations will focus of these two chakras.
Thursday - Will also be similar itinerary to Tuesday, with our focus being the six and seventh chakras. The six chakra, the third eye allows us to see with the eyes of the soul and we find the source of our inner light, our chakra of vision, imagination and intuition. Out of balance we may not be able to see alternatives, and may experience difficulty concentrating and visualizing.
The seventh chakra is the crown chakra where when in balance we are open to divine intelligence, we are at peace with ourselves, and are open minded. Out of balance a person may live in there head, not aware of whats around them, or feel as if they are spiritually elite. We will focus on the awareness of awareness, to become the witness, to release attachments, an to connect to a high power.
We'll end our meditation practice with Yoga Nidra. It will help to serve as a pathway to freedom. This is an hour long guided meditation that will allow you to practice detached awareness, as we continue to plant the seeds of transformation. It will leave you feeling fully grounded, relaxed and rejuvenated.
Friday - We will meet for our Sunrise Beach Yoga, and then end as a group for our circle of love, joining hands and joining hearts. Breathing in peace and exhaling Love.
Join us! I promise you will leave feeling more balanced in your body, mind and soul.
